The Great Sports Name Hall of Fame - Results of Ballot 3

Voting for Ballot 3 of the Great Sports Name Hall of Fame has ended! And...it's awkward...

For the first time in our young history, 0 names were elected for the Hall from our given ballot. Even with a low 55% of the vote entrance rate, this will happen from time to time, especially in such an eclectic hall. Even Major League Baseball has had 0 people make the Hall of Fame before, last happening in 1960. Regardless, it feels strange, as you'd always like someone to make it, especially with so many surefire locks among the names nominated.

21 votes total, which is nowhere near the previous ballot's total, but took less prodding of my friends and actually included some non friend votes, so we'll consider it a success. Here are the most nominated names (those who scored between 20 and 55% of the Ballots) who retain eligibility for the Hall and will appear on Ballot 4:

10 nominations - Misty Hyman and Destiny Frankenstein (both on their first chance for the Hall, these ladies made quite the strong showing and led the pack)
9 - Wonderful Terrific Monds the Third and Paul Dickov (as Pull Dickoff) (Both on their third chance at the Hall, Pull Dickoff was the biggest vote gainer, gaining 13% more votes than last time)
8 - Lucious Pusey, Ben Gay, Earthwind Moreland (3rd chance, 2nd chance, 2nd chance)
7 - Jung Bong, Grlenntys Chief Kickingstallionsims Jr. (3rd chance, 1st chance)
6 - Milton Bradley, Ten Million, D'Brickashaw Ferguson (2nd chance, 1st chance, 1st chance)

That rounds out those names that will continue on to Ballot 4. As for the names that were knocked off the ballot (less than 20% of the vote), and will therefore not be eligible for future inclusion to the Hall, those include:

4 nominations- Harry Colon, Ron Tugnutt, Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala (That these names were eliminated is absolutely stunning to me. Colon was first among not electees last time (42%) and this time ended up at 19%, which was quite the drop. And Tugnutt is simply hilarious. Regardless, these two (on their second chance) and Fuuuuuu (on his first chance) were, somehow, eliminated from the Hall.
3 - Dick Seaman, Tim Biakabutuka, Cortland Temujin Finnegan (3rd Chance, 2nd Chance, 1st Chance)
2 - Dick Pole, Dick Butkus, Usain Bolt (3rd Chance and a personal favorite, 3rd chance, 1st chance)
1 - Isaiah Kacyvenski, Homer Bush

So there you have it. 11 names gone, 12 sticking around, 10 more to come over the next few weeks before Ballot 4 (Let's hope Ballot 4 gets some more support for Destiny and Ms. Hyman!)
